Finding a job is very challenging for immigrant and refugee youth; due to educational barriers that limit their choices, they also have limited knowledge on how to develop their careers. Through skills plan, negotiation, network building, and learning from their experiences and understanding who they are, ARISE and Shine provides support and guidance to immigrant and refugee youth to determine what careers are available, their interests, and what skills they have or need to develop.
